AC Milan and AS Roma smashed Cagliari and Salernitana respectively in the second round of Italian League Serie A. We have highlighted a recap of both the Serie A games below, both the winning teams scored four goals.
AC Milan faced Cagliari at the San Siro stadium for Serie A second round and claimed an impressive 4:1 victory. The first half of the football match was quite an interesting one as Stefano Pioli’s team scored all four goals in the first 45 minutes.
After the starting whistle, the opening goal was scored in the 12th minute. Just after three minutes the guests restored the parity. However, Rossoneri managed to score another just 5 minutes later.
Olivier Giroud scored the third and fourth goal for the Scudetto winner. In the 24th minute, he netted the first goal firing the ball into the top left corner and converting a penalty 18 minutes later leaving no chance for the opponent.
In another match, Jose Mourinho’s men smashed the Serie A newcomers from the South of Italy with Tammy Abraham scoring his debut goal for the Roman club. The match was played at the Arechi Stadium where Lorenzo Pellegrini and Jordan Veretout also contributed to the 4-0 victory over Salernitana gaining another 3 points to their asset.
