AC Milan to spend £17 million for Man United midfielder. This summer, AC Milan reportedly wants to spend £17 million to sign Donny van de Beek, a midfielder for Manchester United.
Van de Beek, 26, arrived from Ajax for an initial sum of £34 million in 2020, but he hasn’t been able to lock down a starting position at Old Trafford. He has so far assisted his present team in winning the EFL Cup, which is the only trophy they have won.
The 19-cap Netherlands international failed to gain Erik Ten Hag’s faith last season as a right-footed box-to-box midfielder. During his team’s 3-0 Premier League victory over Bournemouth in January, he sustained a season-ending knee injury, forcing him to miss a stunning 47 games.
Fichajes claims that AC Milan is eager to take advantage of the player’s present circumstances at Old Trafford. They are prepared to submit a proposal for around £17 million this summer to recruit the Dutch player.
In light of Sandro Tonali’s prospective £60 million transfer to Newcastle United, Rossoneri manager Stefano Pioli is thought to be eager to strengthen his midfield. He has persuaded his group to quickly sign Van de Beek.
Van van Beek, whose current deal expires in June 2025, might turn out to be a good acquisition for Milan. He would rival Rade Krunic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Ismael Bennacer.
In 60 games for Manchester United in all competitions, Van de Beek has a total of two goals and as many assist.
Fabrizio Romano provides his assessment of Rasmus Hojlund in light of Manchester United rumors:
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano discussed Atalanta attacker Rasmus Hojlund with GiveMeSport in light of growing Manchester United interest.
He elaborated: “When you spend £60 million or £70 million on a player, you are getting someone ready to contribute to your squad. At this point, Hojlund has had great success with Atlanta.”
Romano added, clarifying the Red Devils’ view on Hojlund: “But right now, it’s more about his potential. He has sat on the sidelines for a considerable amount of time at times. Manchester United believes that he has amazing potential, but that the asking price might be too high for him.”
Since Erik ten Hag’s team chose to withdraw from the pursuit of Harry Kane, 20-year-old Hojlund has emerged as the Red Devils’ priority target in attack. Due to his impressive performance in Europe the previous time around, he has been named the first-choice number nine. Hojlund has played 34 times for Atalanta and scored 10 goals so far.
