Bernardo Silva rejects PSG offer. According to GOAL, Portugal international Bernardo Silva is prepared to turn down a hefty offer from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) because he wants to sign with Barcelona. Silva allegedly has no interest in renewing his contract with Manchester City.
The 28-year-old is a wonderful player in his own right because any team in the world could use his ingenuity. Recent rumors about Silva moving to teams like Barcelona and PSG have been very prevalent.
Mundo Deportivo claims that Pep Guardiola won’t obstruct the player if he decides to explore a transfer to another club rather than prolonging his Manchester City stay.
Guardiola’s club, the Cityzens, won the European treble this past season with Silva playing a key role in the success. He played for the Manchester club in 55 games in all competitions, scoring seven goals and dishing out eight assists.
In 2017, Silva became a member of the Premier League team. He has so far made 306 appearances for the team, contributing 59 assists and 55 goals in all tournaments. The former AS Monaco player has also received a lot of attention regarding a transfer to the Saudi Pro League.
Bernardo Silva of Manchester City recently discussed connections between Barcelona and PSG:
Bernardo Silva, a standout for Manchester City, was recently questioned about rumors that he was interested in joining Barcelona and PSG. Before Portugal’s recent matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iceland in UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers, he was requested to speak on the subject.
In response to the rumors, Silva stated that he has become accustomed to being the subject of them. The Portuguese continued by saying that the noise from outside doesn’t disturb him. According to Silva (of Record Portugal): “I don’t mind answering inquiries. My future is still a mystery to me. Even if I did, this is not the place to discuss it.”
The Portuguese added: “It doesn’t bother me. This has been my occupation for about three years. I’ve gotten acclimated to it quickly, and I’m very concentrated. Being here is a great source of satisfaction and incredible pride to represent our nation. We have two games left to provide another crucial pass while attempting to please the Portuguese. Having the opportunity to represent our national team is always an honor.”
Bernardo Silva piques Luis Enrique’s attention. The player has dreams of playing for Barcelona, which may cause him to reject other opportunities and pursue his future at Barcelona despite PSG’s desire.
