Saudi Arabian club is out of the race to sign Romelu Lukaku. Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea has withdrawn from the battle to be signed by Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal due to his excessive price demands. After his loan to Inter Milan expires, Lukaku will likely return to Stamford Bridge.
The future of Lukaku is currently uncertain. Another loan transfer to Inter might be forthcoming. Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League was another team that received a lot of interest in him.
According to Sacha Tavolieri, the negotiations failed because of the excessive wage demand. Lukaku played 37 games for Inter in 2022–23, scoring 14 goals and dishing out seven assists. He did, however, blow a golden opportunity against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League final.
The new manager at Stamford Bridge will be Mauricio Pochettino. Although the Blues desperately need a goal striker, the Argentine may not choose Lukaku. From RB Leipzig, Christophe Nkunku will also join the team.
Chelsea’s interest in Moises Caicedo is confirmed by a journalist:
One of the Premier League’s top prospects right now is Moises Caicedo. The midfielder made a significant impression when playing for Brighton & Hove Albion.
The player is sought after by several elite clubs, including Arsenal and the Blues. The Stamford Bridge club’s interest in Caicedo was recently verified by journalist Ben Jacobs. He contributed the following to GiveMeSport: “It’s anticipated that Chelsea and Arsenal will each give it another shot. Due to their lack of worth at the required price and the fact that the Manchester United connections are currently insignificant, Liverpool will not participate in the race.”
He added: “It will require a starting point of £70 million guaranteed plus at least £10 million in add-ons, according to my understanding, even though Brighton is not just offering up a particular sum (they rarely do).”
In January, the Blues had one of their offers for Caicedo turned down. They aren’t anticipated to give up though. Caicedo is anticipated to be the focus of a transfer market battle this summer.
