Chelsea attacker wants to leave. According to reports, Armando Broja, a striker for Chelsea, wants to go since Nicolas Jackson joined the team.
According to TEAMtalk, Broja is looking to leave Stamford Bridge after realizing that his chances of becoming his team’s first-choice striker are in jeopardy. Jackson joins the West London powerhouses on an eight-year deal for £35 million after leaving Villarreal.
Due to this, Broja’s future at Stamford Bridge has been seriously questioned, and the Albanian forward appears to desire to go. Among the four Premier League teams expressing interest are West Ham United, Crystal Palace, and Liverpool.
The 2021–22 season was the 21-year-old’s debut with Chelsea after spending the previous year on loan at Southampton. He appeared in 18 different competitions, recording one goal and one assist.
Nevertheless, Broja struggled to start games consistently, and in December, a cruciate ligament rupture put an end to his season. The Senegalese striker appears to be Mauricio Pochettino’s first-choice frontman despite the Albanian’s desire for a more prominent starting position with the Blues.
Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic to Turn Lyon Down for AC Milan:
Christian Pulisic, a Chelsea forward, will reportedly turn down a move to Lyon this summer in favor of joining AC Milan, according to ESPN. With the Rossoneri, the American has reached an agreement in principle.
Throughout his four years with the Premier League’s juggernauts, Pulisic has had difficulty at Stamford Bridge. He was seen as a like-for-like replacement for Eden Hazard when he joined from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 for £58 million.
The 24-year-old has played in 145 games across competitions since his debut, but he has only scored 26 goals and 21 assists. He has struggled to consistently make it into the Blues’ starting lineup.
This summer appears to be the most likely time for him to go, although Milan is where he would prefer to go. The Ligue 1 team has made Chelsea a $27.2 million (£21.4 million) offer for the American, which is largely offset by add-ons.
Les Gones are unable to match the salary that Rossoneri is offering to Pulisic, though. Because he wants to play UEFA Champions League football, the player likes Milan. The Serie A powerhouses are yet to match the west Londoners’ €25 million (£21.5 million) value of the USMNT captain.
