Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech has announced that he will ‘take full control’ of his career amid reports he will be moving to AC Milan.
There are reports linking the Morrocan with a move to the San Siro ahead of the new season.
And Blues boss Thomas Tuchel believes he is content with leaving the side.
And the 29-year-old recently dropped a massive hint over his future, posting a statement on Instagram stressing his desire to take the reins when it comes to contract discussions and moves to other clubs.
Ziyech posted on Instagram:
“I have reached a point in my life where I feel the time is right for me to take complete control over my professional future.
“I want negotiations and decisions about my career to be made by me. So moving forward, my team and I, together with our legal representatives, will handle the business side of things.
“Professional interest should be directed to the contact info in my bio. I remain incredibly grateful for your continued support.”
The Milan move:
Though Ziyech is not in Tuchel’s plans, the move to Milan appears to have hit a snag.
Miguel Delaney of The Independent reports that the two sides have very different valuations for the winger and that any talk of a deal being ‘close’ is wide of the mark.
The Blues are enjoying an active window and look to be strengthening their attack.
With the likes of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City edging closer.
Meanwhile, the London club is looking to sign Raphinha from Leeds United.
It speaks of a side that sees Hakim Ziyech as surplus to requirements.
But they may need to lower their asking price to see a move for the African star come to fruition.
