Hakim Ziyech’s strike at the death handed Chelsea a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace in their Premier League clash at Selhurst Park.
Both teams were guilty of missed chances as Michael Olise and Wilfried Zaha fired wide for the hosts, while Vicente Guaita denied Antonio Rudiger and N’Golo Kante.
Ziyech believed that he had fired the visitors after latching onto a rebound from a Romelu Lukaku strike. However, it only took offside to disallow the goal.
However, the winger was on point in the 89th minute to deliver the three points to turn home a Marcos Alonso cross at the back post.
Chelsea is now seven points away from Manchester United, who are in 4th position with 50 points.
After playing their last game on 23rd January in Premier League, The blues successfully continued their winning form.
As for Partick Viera’s team, they 8 points save from the relegation in 13th position.
