Chelsea wants to sign €120m rated Goncalo Ramos. Goncalo Ramos, who is wanted by Manchester United, is allegedly a target for Chelsea. According to a story in Correio da Manh, Chelsea is interested in the Benfica striker who has scored 19 goals this year. Similar to Enzo Fernandez, who was activated by the Blues in January and was at Benfica, Ramos has a €120 million release option.
However, the Portuguese side is open to negotiations and does not insist that the clause be put into effect this summer. They are still asking for a sizable amount of money, like the $100 million that Liverpool spent last summer to acquire Darwin Nunez.
Chelsea is looking for an attacker because they consistently fail to take advantage of their opportunities to score. Joao Felix was brought in on loan for the remainder of the campaign, but the Portuguese player has only struck once in the past four games. In 23 Premier League games this season, the west London team has tallied just 23 goals and is currently tenth in the standings.
Harry Kane should be the only attacker signed by Chelsea this summer, according to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who played for Chelsea previously. The Tottenham Hotspur striker, in his opinion, will be the ideal complement to Graham Potter’s team.
He said to online casinos: “Chelsea is lacking an attacker. Even though Harry Kane might not want to go, Chelsea should make an effort to convince him to accompany them. They would have at least given it a shot even if he said no. You can count on Kane to score goals wherever he travels. It’s still possible that it will occur.”
“If Tottenham isn’t in the Champions League and even if Chelsea isn’t in the Champions League – their chances of making the top four at this point are slimmer than Spurs – but over the years to come, Chelsea has got a bigger chance of winning trophies and being in the Champions League, and this is where Spurs have struggled,” he continued.
The ex-Blues attacker asserted that the Spurs talisman would be a superior choice to Chelsea’s on-loan Felix. He went on: “They won’t be able to demand £100 million because Kane has [18 months] remaining on his contract; instead, they will ask for less. Joao Felix is also not worth the purported £124 million asking price from Atlético Madrid at this time. Even though I think highly of him as a player, he hasn’t played much football, not even for Atlético Madrid. He might be getting there, though. Additionally, it means that they can’t demand £124 million for him because they don’t value him.”
Kane is allegedly also a target for Manchester United this summer. In 418 appearances for Tottenham, he’s contributed 62 assists and 267 goals.
