Juan Cuadrado and Paulo Dybala scored a goal each as Juventus beat Genoa 2-0 in the Serie A football match. This is Juventus’ fourth win in five league matches and they are fifth on the points table. In the ninth minute for Juventus, Cuadrado made a right footed shot that crossed the goal post while dodging the goalkeeper taking the lead in the initial minutes of the first half. After this, in the second half, Dybala scored a brilliant goal from Federico Bernardeschi in the 82nd minute to make the scoreboard look 2-0. While Juventus tried to maintain this lead, Genoa tried to equalize but they could not avoid their defeat.
Meanwhile, in another match, Lazio defeated Sampdoria on a 3-1 match score. Sergej Milinkovic Savic scored for Lazio in the seventh minute, Ciro Immobile netted in the 17th and 37th minutes, while Sampdoria’s Manolo Gabbiadini scored the team’s only goal in the 89th minute. Milinkovic, however, was shown a red card in the 67th minute of the match for receiving two yellow cards and was forced to leave the field. But it had no effect on Lazio and they won the match with only 10 players.
On the other hand, Venezia suffered a 3-4 loss at the hands of Verona due to a suicide goal from Thomas Henry. For Venezia, Pietro Ceccaroni in the 12th minute, Domen Crnigoj in the 19th, and Thomas Henry scored one goal each in the 27th minute. But in the second half, Thomas opened the account of the opposition team, Verona, by scoring a suicide goal in the 52nd minute. Verona then came back strongly, with Gianluca Caprari scoring a penalty in the 65th minute, then Giovanni Simeone scoring in the 67th and 85th minutes to turn the game upside down.
