Newcastle makes it four Premier League wins on the bounce with a comfortable 3-0 victory over strugglers Norwich. A Joelinton first-half double got the Magpies on their way before Guiamares capitalised on a Krul error after the interval to cap an OK triumph at Carrow Road.

Goals:
GOOALLLLLL! 1-0 NEWCASTLE! Murphy rolls to Saint-Maximin, whose pass to Longstaff is poor. However, the ball rolls past Byram and finds Joelinton, who curls excellently into the top-right corner from the left of the goal. What a strike from the Brazilian! VAR then has a quick check of the goal for offside before confirming it can stand.
GOOOOOOOALLLL! 2-0 NEWCASTLE! Joelinton grabs a second in the simplest of fashion. Murphy breaks through the middle after a beautiful pass by Guiamares before attempting to shoot. Hanley blocks well but inadvertently turn into the path of Joelinton, who taps into the empty net to double the visitors’ lead.
GOOOOOOOOALLLLL! 3-0 NEWCASTLE! Krul plays a terrible pass out from the back, and Guiamares nips in front of McLean before delicately dinking over the Norwich goalkeeper to extend the Magpies’ advantage.
So, what’s next?
Howe’s side jumped to ninth in the league, which is incredible considering they were battling relegation earlier in the season. Newcastle next goes to Liverpool, while Norwich – eight points adrift of safety – next visit Aston Villa.
