Chelsea is reportedly keen to keep Thiago Silva on the books at Stamford Bridge, for the 2021-22 campaign.
Since his arrival last summer, he has quickly become a leader in the Chelsea defence and at the age of 36, the former Paris Saint-Germain stalwart showed no sign of slowing down.
Silva only penned a one-year agreement with the capital outfit when he joined as a free agent but has impressed the Blues in the current campaign, the Brazil international could be set to stay a little longer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the centre-back is set to sit down to discuss his future with the club in the coming weeks, but the general mood is “positive” and there is no pressure to tie up a deal soon.
