Chelsea is eyeing on goalkeeper Nick Pope from Burnley as a possible replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is expected to depart Stamford Bridge later in the summer.
Kepa arrived at Stamford Bridge in the year 2018 and since then he failed to make a positive impact.
That leaves Frank Lampard in search of an appropriate replacement for the Spaniard, whose potential sale will not generate near the £72 m that Chelsea shelled out two years back.
Two years back Chelsea shelled £72 m on the player but now his potential sale would not even reach that amount.
At Turf Moor, Pope played a superb campaign and Lampard is pleased to prioritize the pursuit of the England international, according to the Daily Star.
Narrowly missing out on the Premier League Golden Glove award, however, could result in Pope being valued at around £ 50 m.
Pope is willing to represent his country at Euro 2020 and for the same, he is stated to make a move into a bigger club over the coming weeks.
