A brilliant second half from Chelsea sees them beat Burnley 4-0. The hosts had the better of the first-half chances, but Chelsea completely turned things around.
Chelsea secured the win with three goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half – James opened the scoring from a tight angle before Havertz got a quick double to put them out of sight.
Pulisic rounded it off in the 69th minute when Tarkowski’s attempted block bounced to him, and he poked it over the line.

Goals:
The visitors have made a bright start to the second half, and they have their reward! Chalobah threads it through to James, who catches out McNeil with a clever bit of footwork. He eventually goes for goal himself, hitting his shot into the far bottom corner. 1-0 Chelsea,
It’s switched out to James on the right, and he knocks it onto Pulisic ahead of him. He drags it back to curl a good cross into the far post, where Havertz has peeled off the back of Collins, and he nods it in at the near post. 2-0 Chelsea.
Burnley can’t keep up with Chelsea’s lightning-quick start to the second half. So it’s switched out to James, who fizzes a great ball across the face of the goal. Pope is drawn to it, and Havertz manages to bundle it over the line under pressure. 3-0 Chelsea.
Jorginho pokes the ball out to Saul on the left, and he plays a low cross into the middle. Tarkowski can only poke it back towards goal in his attempts to block it, and Pulisic taps in from close range 4-0 Chelsea.
So, what’s next for Chelsea and Burnley?
That’s three Premier League wins on the bounce for Chelsea, and they stay third, now six points ahead of Manchester United below them. Next up for them is a trip to Norwich City.
Meanwhile, Burnley misses the chance to move out of the relegation zone, staying in 18th place, currently one point from safety. They have Brentford next time out.
