Thierry Henry praises Manchester City star Erling Haaland. Erling Haaland of Manchester City has made an impression on Arsenal icon Thierry Henry during his brief time in England. In the Carabao Cup match against Liverpool, Haaland scored his 24th goal of the year. He returned to the scoresheet in ten minutes after a month away from the action. Henry discussed Haaland’s scoring history and predicted that the Norwegian will score six goals in a single game. He does, however, think that the Norwegian will find it challenging to reach 50 league goals.
Henry stated the following on Arsenal’s Amazon Prime YouTube channel: “With the number of opportunities Man City generates, I predict he will score six goals in a single game during his tenure with the club. Can he score 50 goals in a season? Though not in the league, he will still average more than 50.” One of the true Premier League legends is Henry. He had a remarkable career, scoring 175 goals in 258 games for the Premier League. While Erling Haaland has scored 18 goals in 13 games.
Henry discussed how his own kind of play differs from Haaland’s. Despite playing a smaller role, he thinks the Manchester City hitman is incredibly lethal. John said: “I was unable to continue playing, touch the ball five times, and maintain my composure while preparing to score. Me? If you had lost me, I would have fought and struggled with everyone, saying things like, “Give me the ball, I need to touch the ball, but that was just me.”
He went on to say: “If I was right or wrong, he has the skill to touch the ball five times. The other day, he did so and scored two goals, which is plain foolish. The way City creates and the way he is, together, are the ideal combination.”
