Luis Enrique, Spanish national team head coach spoke about the level of Spanish football.
“I have no impression that we missed the train of European football. I am not going to talk about the Champions League or the clubs. We’ll see what happens at the European Championships,” Enrique said to Marca.
“We need to live in the present. This week will help me understand the level of players, but there is a European championship ahead.”
“The line between failure and success is too thin. I like what I see and the way we are going.”
Spain will meet Switzerland and Germany in the League of Nations and will also play against the Netherlands in a friendly match in November.
