Germany head coach Joachim Löw will resign his post after Euro 2020, as per DFB.
The contract was originally designed until the 2022 World Cup but the 61-year-old specialist himself has asked for the termination after the European Championship. The German Football Association granted his request.
Since 2006 Löw has been Germany’s manager and he was crowned world champion in 2014, bronze medallist in 2010, and won the Confederations Cup in 2017.
At the European Championships, Germany under Leo finished second in 2008 and won bronze twice, in 2012 and 2016.
Löw was awarded FIFA Coach of the Year in 2014.
