Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick hinted at the possibility of luring the Norwegian sensation away from Borussia Dortmund after Erling Haaland scored twice in Saturday’s Der Klassiker.
Haaland has been invincible since joining Dortmund in January, and he added another notch to his belt when he helped his team take charge of the derby. Bringing his season total to 29 goals in just 28 games, he scored twice in the first ten minutes.
It was only normal that one reporter would pose the question after a game in which the two strikers were the stars. And Flick was delighted to toy with the idea.
“Very, very much is possible in life, nothing can be ruled out,” he told Sky in Germany.
“But that is a long way off. He has a long-term contract in Dortmund and is an option for many top clubs.”
