Glen Johnson insists Graham Potter sign Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala. Veteran Chelsea defender Glen Johnson believes that Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala would be a great acquisition to his former team after his spectacular performances at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Due to his great performances for the Bundesliga champions, Musiala, 19, has identified himself as one of the game’s most promising players. He left Chelsea’s junior academy in the summer of 2019 and paid €200,000 to join his current team. He has since helped them win nine championships.
Musiala, a deft passer who excels at playing a variety of positions, has been on fire lately. Just before Germany was ousted from the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, he created an impression and even provided one assist. In his interview with FairBettingSites, Johnson encouraged Chelsea and Liverpool to compete for the services of the former England U21 international. I’d want to see Jamal Musiala in a Liverpool or back in a Chelsea shirt, especially with the way he’s performing right now, the man said. The majority of top clubs would bite off their leg for him. Musiala was involved in most of Germany’s assaults prior to their defeat. He seems like the ideal player for the Premier League.
Johnson stated, “I wish Musiala was still English, but with the skill, we already have in his position, he’s probably the last person we need. Musiala would likely compete with the other midfielders on the team if he were to join the England team. I believe he has the ability to start for England. Musiala, who switched his international allegiances in February of last year, has been on fire at the club level during the current 2022–23 season. He has so far scored 12 goals and contributed 10 assists in 22 appearances for Julian Nagelsmann’s squad across all competitions.
According to Transfermarkt, Musiala is currently valued at £86 million. According to Calciomercato, AC Milan is reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek after talks between the Serie A team and the player’s agency Stellar Group. Renne’s resident Jeremy Doku has also been suggested as a potential addition. Loftus-Cheek, 26, has just cemented himself as a regular starter for Chelsea under new boss Graham Potter.
In all competitions last season, he only made 18 starts, but so far in the 2022–23 season, he has made 14. Since joining the Blues in 2004, the 10-cap England international has established himself as a box-to-box player who excels at passing and dribbling. Since his debut, he has helped his boyhood club win five trophies. Loftus-Cheek has made 142 appearances for the Blues in total, and his deal, which expires in June 2024, includes 13 goals and 17 assists.
