Superstar Lionel Messi of PSG discusses his greatest qualities. Superstar Lionel Messi of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) barely has a weak spot in his defense. He has arguably proven himself to everyone and has nothing left to prove.
In a recent interview with Bolavip Argentina, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner was questioned about what he considered to be his strongest quality. Messi’s response, rather than citing his legendary dribbling prowess or his uncanny finishing ability, was that he appreciates his perseverance above all else.
According to a comment from the former Barcelona superstar via @AlbicelesteTalk on Twitter: “My best quality? I’m not sure, but I believe it involves constant effort because once I set a goal, I don’t give up until I reach it.”
Beginning with struggle and a lot of work, Lionel Messi’s football career is a story in and of itself. At the age of 11, he was identified as having growth hormone deficiency (GHD).
The legendary footballer from Argentina overcame the issue after receiving extensive treatment, and he is now possibly the best player the sport has ever seen. On the pitch, he hasn’t always gotten his wish for everything either.
In Qatar last year, the 35-year-old won the FIFA World Cup on his fifth and probably final attempt. It was the last and possibly most desired item of cutlery that was missing from his trophy case.
Messi is still going strong at PSG, where he has 20 goals and 19 assists in 36 appearances across competitions this season despite having won everything there is to win in football.
However, the four-time UEFA Champions League champion’s deal at Parc des Princes expires this summer, and a move back to Barcelona has received significant attention.
Lionel Messi is urged to remain at PSG by an Argentine legend:
Lionel Messi has been pushed by Argentine icon Mario Kempes to stay with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) rather than sign with Barcelona.
The hero of Argentina’s 1978 FIFA World Cup victory, Kempes thinks Messi’s mental health would fare better in Paris. According to an Indian Express report on the former River Plate striker, Super Deportivo Radio in Spain: “I don’t believe his return to Barcelona is healthy. He would do better in France, where he should remain in order to arrive at the next World Cup in peace. Barcelona’s goals are different from his, and he is still developing after his departure. There are numerous issues. Let him remain at PSG because you are self-centered and care about the Argentine National Team.”
For Lionel Messi, life in the capital of France is not perfect. He recently received boos from irate PSG supporters who questioned his dedication to the team. It is uncertain whether the 174-cap Argentina international will still be involved in international competition by the time of the FIFA World Cup in 2026.
