Liverpool shows interest in Real Madrid’s target. Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund, is now apparently no longer a target for Liverpool, allowing Real Madrid and Manchester City to seize the opportunity.
The Times claims that the Reds are unwilling to dedicate a significant portion of their transfer budget to a single player. They need to turn around a challenging season, but paying about £100 million for Bellingham, 19, will prevent them from bolstering the team.
Bellingham and Liverpool have been linked frequently this summer. In their pursuit of the English teenager who has emerged as Europe’s most sought-after midfielder, they joined Manchester City and Real Madrid.
The Dortmund midfielder has a tonne of admirers, including Jurgen Klopp. His £100 million price tag, though, appears to have turned the Merseysiders away. Instead, they’ll try to strengthen their midfield with two different additions.
Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount of Chelsea, as well as Ryan Gravenberch of Bayern Munich, are on their shortlist. Matheus Nunes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Youri Tielemans of Leicester City, Alexis Mac Allister of Brighton & Hove Albion, and Moises Caicedo of Brighton & Hove Albion are all targets.
Given the excitement around Bellingham’s arrival at Anfield, Liverpool fans will be saddened by the news. This season, he has performed superbly for both club and country. In 37 games for BvB across competitions, he has produced seven assists and 10 goals.
Bellingham performed admirably for England at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, contributing to two goals in five games. The English midfielder made history as the youngest captain in Bundesliga history and the youngest captain to ever score in a UEFA Champions League match.
It appears the former Birmingham City Academy grad won’t be going to Merseyside, though. Real Madrid and Manchester City may now be in a two-horse race to recruit him in the summer.
Roberto Firmino is being monitored by Real Madrid:
Roberto Firmino, a striker for Liverpool, will leave Anfield at the conclusion of the current campaign. Eight fantastic seasons with the Merseysiders will come to an end with the Brazilian.
El Nacional claims that Real Madrid is interested in signing Firmino this summer as they strive to strengthen their forward line. Due to exorbitant prices and Los Blancos’ lack of trust, there is a shortage of strikers in their sights.
Los Merengues are therefore interested in Firmino because he will be a free transfer, as he will be.
With 11 goals and five assists in 32 appearances this season, the veteran striker has been in excellent form. By winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and League Cup, he has established himself as a Kop icon.
If Firmino moves to the Santiago Bernabeu, Karim Benzema, who appears to be close to agreeing to a new contract, will most likely serve as his backup.
