Arsenal ready to pay £60m for Kai Havertz. Sami Mokbel, a journalist for the Daily Mail, claims that Arsenal is willing to pay £60 million for Chelsea striker Kai Havertz, plus add-ons. The Gunners are now paying attention to Havertz, who was previously connected to a transfer to Real Madrid.
Although Havertz has recently had form issues at Stamford Bridge, he is still a technically brilliant player. In 47 games in all competitions last campaign, he scored nine goals and supplied one assist.
To strengthen the squad and build on their second-place Premier League performance, Mikel Arteta’s club is looking to add reinforcements. To compete in numerous competitions, they will require a deeper roster now that the team is back in the UEFA Champions League.
Havertz can be a fantastic addition to the team because of his exceptional qualities. According to the aforementioned source, Arsenal is prepared to offer him a weekly salary of more than £200,000 and to pay Chelsea £60 million for his services. The German forward is wanted by the Blues for £70 million, however.
Along with Havertz, the Gunners are seeking to add a central defender and are interested in Declan Rice of West Ham United.
Journalist predicts Moises Caicedo will receive full attention from Chelsea and Arsenal:
In January, Brighton & Hove Albion turned down offers for Moises Caicedo from Chelsea and Arsenal, respectively. The Ecuadorian midfielder is still allegedly a target for both organizations, though.
The situation of the player has now been updated by journalist Ben Jacobs. Jacobs predicted that both London teams will try to sign Caicedo again in the summer in his column for GiveMeSport.
He wrote: “It’s anticipated that Chelsea and Arsenal will each give it another shot. Due to their lack of worth at the required price and the fact that the Manchester United connections are currently insignificant, Liverpool will not participate in the race.”
Last year, Caicedo was an important player for the Seagulls. The 21-year-old has amazing ball-winning skills and a tonne of confidence with the ball in his hands.
