Rabiot confesses he wants to join Liverpool. Childhood Liverpool supporter Adrien Rabiot has acknowledged that he is unsure whether to sign a new contract with Juventus for the upcoming season.
The 28-year-old Rabiot has proven to be an important first-team starter for the Bianconeri throughout the current 2022–23 season. He has played 35 games in all competitions so far, scoring 10 goals and dishing out four assists.
The 36-cap France international is a press-resistant left-footer who has become a popular subject of rumors since the new year. He is in the last two months of his contract, thus his departure is anticipated soon.
Rabiot claimed in a DAZN interview that he has yet to speak with Juventus informally about a prospective contract extension. He continued, “I’m not sure if I’ll sign a new contract and stay here. I’m still waiting to talk to the club about it.
Several Premier League clubs are interested in signing Rabiot, who joined the Bianconeri from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a free transfer in 2019; this is according to TEAMtalk. The midfielder is being chased by a number of teams, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United.
When questioned about leaving PSG earlier this year, Rabiot responded to RMC Sport by stating that he was a Reds fan when he was younger. There are many extremely good leagues, he retorted. Although leaving PSG is enlightening, I am content here for now. My dream is to compete in the Premier League. Even though I was a huge Liverpool supporter when I was little, there isn’t necessarily a certain club.
Rabiot would provide Thiago Alcantara and Jordan Henderson competition if he were to sign with Jurgen Klopp’s team this summer. In 164 games for the Serie A team, Rabiot has tallied 16 goals and provided 10 assists, helping Juventus win three titles thus far.
Former Tottenham Hotspur player Darren Bent discussed the future of Chelsea standout Mason Mount on talkSPORT. “I believe he could start for Liverpool,” he remarked. He works hard, is motivated, and has legs. He could start for Newcastle United. He might start for Manchester United alongside Casemiro and Bruno [Fernandes], in my opinion. He could join any of the top six teams, in my opinion, but Liverpool is a lock. He might certainly be started.
Since the beginning of the year, Mount, 24, has become a hot topic of rumors due to his contract dispute with Chelsea. According to GOAL, the Reds have already had fruitful discussions about a potential transfer.
