PSG make a scanty €10 million bid to sign Milan Skriniar. According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has submitted a €10 million offer to sign Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar during the current transfer window. Since his €20 million transfer from Sampdoria to the Nerazzurri in 2017, Skriniar, 27, has been a vital first-team starter for the Nerazzurri. He has assisted his team in three victories, including the Serie A championship in 2020–21.
Since the beginning of the current 2022–23 season, Skriniar, a tall center-back renowned for his tackling and heading, has been the Ligue 1 champions’ primary defensive target. L’Equipe reports that Inter turned down a €60 million offer for the Slovak in the dying hours of the summer transfer window.
Calciomercato reports that PSG has made a pitiful offer of €10 million to recruit Skriniar in the last week of this month. The club is anxious to avoid a salary negotiation when the Inter Milan star’s current deal expires in the upcoming summer. The Serie A powerhouses, on the other hand, have come to terms with the fact that they will eventually lose their great defense. The club is therefore keen to make a profit off of him before the February transfer deadline.
Skriniar has played 242 games for the Simone Inzaghi-coached team, scoring 11 goals and assisting five more in all competitions. Should the MSK Zilina academy graduate sign with Parc des Princes this month, he will give Marquinhos, Sergio Ramos, and the injured Presnel Kimpembe a world-class competition.
Jerome Rothen, a former PSG winger, endorsed PSG to sign Rayan Cherki from Lyon in January in an interview with RMC Sport. He added while heaping praise on the winger with both hands: “It’s admirable that a club like PSG, who rules the league, would wish to wager on a young athlete. Cherki is a young, bright, and French footballer who shows promise. This benefits the French championship while also being beneficial to a club like Lyon that is having financial difficulties. In their time, Lyon succeeded in obtaining the top players in Ligue 1. The Parisians currently have this particular vision, and I must affirm that they do.”
According to L’Equipe, Cherki, 19, has caught the attention of Parisians as a suitable winter alternative for Pablo Sarabia. In 81 appearances with Lyon in all competitions, he has tallied 10 goals and 13 assists.
