Inter’s chances of winning the Serie A title are dealt a huge blow as they fall to a 2-1 defeat against Bologna.
Inzaghi’s side, everything was going so well as they opened the scoring inside the third minute.
With Perisic taking on several defenders before smashing his shot past Skorupski at the near post.
Arnautovic levelled proceedings 25 minutes later, heading home Barrow’s inch-perfect cross.
At the start of the second half, Inter were expected to push on and look to assert their dominance.
But they looked flat and lethargic, and Radu epitomised that with his horrific error.
The Inter backup keeper failed to clear his lines after receiving a throw-in, allowing Sansone to tap home from one yard out.

Goals:
BOLOGNA 0-1 INTER – Perisic stuns those inside Renato Dall’Ara as he opens the scoring inside the first four minutes. The Inter striker played a quick one-two on the edge of the box, nutmegged an onrushing defender before smashing the ball into the top corner. Incredible bit of skill and the finish to match!
BOLOGNA 1-1 INTER – Game on!!! Arnautovic fires Bologna level, and out of nowhere, we are level. The former Stoke City striker stayed onside and met Barrow’s cross with power before heading past Radu with ease.
BOLOGNA 2-1 INTER – The home side comes back from behind and now lead at home to title-chasing Inter after a howler at the back from the visitors. Radu should have cleared Perisic’s simple throw-in, but he slipped and played a pass along the goal line, allowing Sansone to tap into an empty net. He will never want to see the replay of that strike!
So, what’s next?
Inter has played the same amount of games as Milan, yet they remain two points behind them after tonight’s defeat. Inter’s title hopes now lie in the hands of their arch-rivals, which is not a good place to be in.
