Barcelona to sell Ez Abde for €35 million offer. According to reports, Barcelona is willing to allow teenage winger Ez Abde to depart if a €35 million bid comes through.
Abde transferred from Hercules to Barca’s youth academy in the summer of 2021. He has scored once in 12 senior club appearances across various competitions. The Moroccan attacker was permitted to sign a season-long loan with Osasuna last summer.
He made an impression there with his brilliant flanking abilities. He is a challenging player for opposing defenders to handle because of his quickness, ball control, and directness in attack. Furthermore, Abde is only 21 and will continue to improve. His performances throughout the previous season attracted interest from other teams in addition to the Blaugrana.
Abde has a future at Camp Nou, but the team is still willing to let him depart if an offer of roughly €35 million comes through, claims Mundo Deportivo. Nevertheless, Xavi Hernandez, the manager, reportedly wants to evaluate Abde when the team is on a pre-season tour.
Barca appears to be willing to give up some long-term chances for short-term financial advantage in this aspect, though. In order to earn money and balance their books in time for the new season, they are ready to shed marginal players.
They have the choices of Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati, and Ousmane Dembele down the sides; however, despite their wish to remain at the club, the Spanish duo is also apparently listed for transfer.
Ilkay Gundogan makes Barcelona admission after securing summer transfer amidst Arsenal interest:
At the beginning of the next month, Ilkay Gundogan will transfer from Manchester City to Barcelona for nothing.
Pep Guardiola made the 32-year-old his first acquisition at the Etihad in the summer of 2016. But now he’s moving to Catalonia following a hugely successful seven-year tenure in Manchester.
Additionally, Arsenal is said to have expressed interest in the German international, who has led Manchester City since 2019. However, he believed that the choice was an easy one. If I was going to go, there was only one club in the entire globe that made sense, he wrote in the Player’s Tribune (via the Irish Mirror). Barcelona was the only option. I’ve wanted to wear that garment ever since I was a young child.
He said: “I know I still have a few years left at the top level, and I just want to help Barcelona get back to where they belong.”
Gundogan appeared in 304 games for Manchester City and amassed 14 awards, including the UEFA Champions League the previous year.
