UEFA has officially declared the addition of fans in the European Super Cup between Bayern Munich and Seville.
When the champions of the Champions League battle the Europa League champions in Budapest, on September 24, fans will be back at the stands.
“The UEFA Executive Committee today decided to allow the 2020 UEFA Super Cup to be played on September 24, 2020, in Budapest with a reduced number of spectators – up to 30 percent of the stadium’s capacity – in order to study precisely the impact of spectators on the UEFA Return to Play protocol,” the statement read.
“It has been confirmed that all other UEFA matches shall continue to be played behind closed doors until further notice, as initially decided by the UEFA Executive Committee on July 9, 2020.”
