Two Parma players have been isolated for testing COVID-19 positive on one swab and negative on the other.
The club ‘sstated that the whole team of about 60 people checked out both double swabs and blood tests. Except for the two players who were asymptomatic and isolated all tests were negative.
“Both of them were positive on the first test and negative on the second that was performed 24 hours later. The athletes, both in excellent condition and asymptomatic, have nonetheless been immediately isolated and the club will monitor them constantly.”
At the evening press conference, the Prime Minister announced, on May 18, Monday group training will be allowed and the rest of the Parma squad will begin a training retreat.
Negative testing could have meant that they had a full recovery, but all players had to pass a double swab test before they were allowed to train with their teammates.
