The game finishes with a scoreline of 2-0 to the hosts. It was a brilliant performance from Southampton to go along with the victory, and it really could have been four or five.
They dominated the first half, but it took them until the 36th minute to take the lead when Livramento sent a low delivery across the face of the goal, and Adams finally put the ball in after a scramble.
Adams and Walker-Peters could’ve made it 2-0 but saw their efforts deflected behind or saved, but the Saints finally put the game to bed on 88 minutes when Romeu sent a brilliant first-time effort flying past a helpless Gunn.

What a goal!!! Romeu doubles the lead with a brilliant finish after the ball was headed out to him from a corner. He takes it the first time and sends a superb effort flying past Gunn to make it 2-0 and surely put this game to bed.
So, where else do Southampton and Norwich go from here?
The victory for the Saints moves them up a place to ninth as they leapfrog Brighton, and they travel to Aston Villa next as they look to continue their good run.
Defeat for the Canaries means that they remain bottom of the league and five points off safety.
Their form will have to change if they want to stay up drastically, and they’ll try to start a run with a big home game against Brentford next.
