Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has shared his opinion on how he feels about his status as team captain.
“It’s a great privilege. I am very fortunate to be able to lead this club and to be its captain. It’s a huge honor,” Maguire said to UEFA official website.
“I’m doing everything I can to be a successful captain and obviously the main thing is to start lifting trophies and start winning matches on a regular basis.”
“I am very demanding. You could talk to a lot of players and they will tell you that I am very loud on the pitch and in the changing room.”
“Solskjaer and I have a great relationship. I feel he is doing brilliantly. He’s cool and calm, but at the same time he can also open up on the other side when players need to be asked.”
“He and I are close. We talk a lot before training sessions, before games. I convey to him my ideas and how I feel about the team and its mindset, what we can improve on and where we can go. He does the same.”
