Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool head coach has explained the play of goalkeeper Alisson.
In previous matches, the Brazilian has made productive mistakes but he had a clean sheet in the Champions League game against Leipzig (2-0).
“As for my confidence, nothing has changed when we talk about Alisson,” Klopp said at the press conference.
“We are all human and so is Ali. He has shown that in the last two matches. It’s not a problem. And of course it’s a job, but you have to do most of it yourself. That’s what he does.”
“It’s not a matter of telling him, “Come on, Ali, you’re a world-class goalkeeper.” He knows that. In the morning, in front of the mirror, he has no idea that he sees a world-class goalkeeper in front of him.”
“If you have made a mistake in previous matches, you don’t like it at all. All men are the same and Ali is too smart to ignore it.”
“Ali certainly didn’t have the best of times between the two matches. But the game against Leipzig was really good in terms of coming back.”
