Jurgen Klopp after Wilfried Zaha. John Wenham, a specialist in Tottenham Hotspur, has recommended Liverpool to sign Wilfried Zaha, a forward for Crystal Palace who has also been strongly connected with Chelsea and Arsenal. Over the previous eight seasons, Zaha, 30, has been a star for Palace, helping the team establish its reputation as a mid-table Premier League team. He has played 443 games for his boyhood club in all competitions, tallying 89 goals and 75 assists overall.
Zaha, a swift dribbler endowed with style and directness, has become a popular topic in front of the approaching winter transfer season. He has a contract that expires next summer, and a number of teams, including Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal, have been linked to him. Wenham said in a statement to Football Insider that the Reds would be wise to sign Zaha in January of next year. He stated: “Zaha is the only candidate worth considering if Liverpool decides to go out and sign someone. Because of his contract condition, he is available. He would support the change. He is in good shape, has experience in the Premier League, and is familiar with the organization. It would be the best action.”
Wenham added the following when discussing a potential transfer: “With better players surrounding him than in Palace, I believe Zaha would improve in that squad. They might decide against doing that because it would be a quick remedy. At Anfield, Zaha would prosper. It’s also his final sizable payout. That agreement, in my opinion, would benefit everyone.”
Numerous European teams, in addition to Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal, are eager to sign the Ivory Coast international. The right-footed forward is also being watched by Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco, Marseille, Borussia Dortmund, and RB Leipzig, according to 90 minutes. Zaha has had a strong start to the current 2022–23 season, recording six goals and two assists in his first 13 games.
