England squad has expelled Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling and will go to their clubs for judgment, reported The Independent.
In England’s clash With Iceland in the Nations League, Liverpool midfielder Henderson and Manchester City forward Sterling appeared as worries due to injury on Wednesday.
Henderson was withdrawn at halftime of England’s defeat to Belgium on Sunday and Sterling played no role in the match.
Last week Sterling injured a hamstring in training and Gareth Southgate, England manager told the trouble with Henderson was tightness, but denied to explain the extent of the injury.
The England medical staff investigated both players on Monday and it was decided to send them both back to their clubs.
