Everton is interested in signing Wout Weghorst. This summer, Everton is reportedly interested in signing Dutch striker Wout Weghorst, who is presently on loan from Burnley to Manchester United. When Weghorst’s loan period ends on June 30, United does not intend to keep him on as a player permanently.
Sean Dyche’s Everton may try to make a summer move for the seasoned 30-year-old, according to TalkSPORT. Notably, Weghorst played 17 times for the Manchester United giants in the Premier League and only provided one assist.
After Cristiano Ronaldo left the team in the middle of the season, United sorely needed to add forwards during the January transfer window. Weghorst was chosen on a six-month loan by manager Erik Ten Hag.
With eight goals in 16 Super Lig appearances, Weghorst was previously strutting his stuff at Besiktas while on loan. This prompted United, according to Daily Mail, to terminate his Besiktas contract by forking up £2.6 million and taking full responsibility for his paycheck. But it comes as no surprise that the Old Trafford administration does not want to keep him given that he has not scored a single Premier League goal to his credit.
Although Weghorst’s move to Manchester United was just temporary, Everton may want to make a change and permanently sign him.
Amad Diallo, a youthful member of Manchester United, is the target for West Ham:
Amad Diallo, a promising young player for Manchester United, is desired by West Ham. The 20-year-old prodigy was purchased by the Red Devils from Serie A team Atalanta in 2021 for a whopping £19 million cost.
In January 2022, Manchester United decided to transfer Diallo to Rangers, where he showed his skill in front of goal by scoring three goals in just 13 appearances. His real breakthrough performance, though, came this season with Sunderland, where he was loaned out in the summer. Diallo made 42 appearances for the Championship team, scoring 14 goals and dishing out four assists.
Sunderland is naturally eager to keep the dynamic winger for another campaign, but their ambitions are in jeopardy due to West Ham’s fierce competition. The Hammers are particularly eager to obtain Diallo’s services on loan, according to The Northern Echo.
