Darijo Srna says the club will bring back Mykhaylo Mudryk. Darijo Srna, the head of football at Shakhtar Donetsk, recently made light of the fact that the Ukrainian team would purchase Mykhaylo Mudryk back from Chelsea. Srna, a right-back who rose to prominence during his playing career, asserted that Mudryk is presently unhappy in West London because of the team’s recent performance.
Mudryk was traded by Shakhtar in the January transfer window for a hefty sum. The winger was strongly rumored to be moving to Arsenal, but he ultimately joined their London foes, Chelsea.
In sharp contrast to his performance at Shakhtar, Mudryk has yet to contribute to a goal since joining the Premier League. Srna explained to Football Ramble the player’s present mindset as follows: “Not I or our president set the price; the market did. After Mbappe or Vinicius, Mudryk is one of the finest players in Europe at his position. We must be respected by anyone who wishes to purchase a player from Shakhtar. We are adept at both buying and selling athletes.”
The 22-year-old has the skills to develop into one of the greatest players in the Premier League, according to Srna “He is an amazing player and a graduate of our academy. Sadly, he and Mykhaylo aren’t in a good mood right now at Chelsea, but he has everything it takes to be among the greatest players in the Premier League in a few years.”
Srna also made light of the fact that once the conflict in Ukraine is over, Shakhtar would if necessary purchase Mykhaylo Mudryk back from Chelsea. It’s no issue, we’ll buy him back after the war, he said. After the war, we’ll purchase him back. The Blues have been in terrible form lately, dropping their last two games and not winning any of their last five.
Despite Mykhaylo Mudryk’s sluggish start to life at the Blues, Darijo Srna is optimistic that the striker will soon find his rhythm. “Don’t worry about Mudryk; you’ll appreciate watching him,” Srna advised. The Chelsea coach is currently not in a good mood, Mudryk isn’t performing well, and the team isn’t playing well either. However, they need more time. Relax, Mudryk will be fine. On February 26, Graham Potter’s side will make a comeback when they travel to face Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League match.
