On Saturday, Armando Broja was relieved to score his first Chelsea goal in a 3-0 victory over the Wolves.
Mason Mount was replaced by Broja off the bench, and he played the remaining 20 minutes of the match at Stamford Bridge. He scored his team’s third goal, but his early celebrations were stopped short by a VAR check, and the goal was ultimately awarded.
According to Broja, there is usually a delay when they look for a potential offside. Although I was crossing my fingers, I believed I had timed my run nicely. Many thanks to the supporters. I’ve been waiting for my first goal, and it seems surreal. It’s a strange time. I’m at a loss for words.

Game Highlights: Chelsea’s next Champions League match is against Milan, and then they play Aston Villa the following Sunday. Next Saturday, the Wolves will host Nottingham Forest.
At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea easily defeats the Wolves 3-0, and it was richly deserved. From the first whistle, the London team was superior, keeping possession of the ball and taking advantage of their better opportunities. Chelsea moved into the top four, at least temporarily, thanks to goals from Havertz, Mount, and Broja. Wolves, though, are still stuck in the relegation zone.
On Tuesday, the Blues play again when they take on AC Milan in the Champions League.
