Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci is said to have rejected the offer to join Manchester City.
The 33-year-old has been connected frequently with a move to the Etihad Stadium since Pep Guardiola took over, and City is searching for defensive reinforcements again this summer, despite having already brought Nathan Ake.
This summer Man City has made a fresh approach to Bonucci, reports Sky Sport Italia but the seasoned center-back has maintained that he will not abandon Juve.
Bonucci is reportedly looking forward to working under former Juventus and Italy teammate Andrea Pirlo, who earlier this month replaced Maurizio Sarri in charge of the Serie A champions.
Bonucci is thought to want to end his career in Turin and the long-serving defender still has four years remaining at the Allianz Stadium on his current contract.
During two spells with Juventus, Bonucci made 407 appearances in total, having briefly left for a year in 2017-18 to join AC Milan.
