Dani Ceballos receives a contract offer worth €5 million. Until the end of the 2025–26 campaign, Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has been granted a contract extension worth €5 million annually. The Spaniard is reportedly hesitant to sign the agreement because he is worried about playing time.
This summer, Ceballos’ deal with Los Blancos will expire, and several elite European teams have expressed interest in signing the 26-year-old.
Because Real Madrid has so many top-notch midfielders on its roster, Ceballos’ playing time has been constrained. Even though they are towards the end of their careers, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric continue to start the majority of games for Los Blancos. A core group of gifted young midfielders, including Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, and Aurelien Tchouameni, make up the team as well.
According to reports, Jude Bellingham will join Los Blancos this summer, which will have a further effect on Ceballos’ playing time.
Ceballos appeared in 46 games for Real Madrid this season in a variety of competitions, recording one goal and nine assists. But only 19 of those games saw him start. One of the teams interested in signing Ceballos this summer is Inter Milan.
Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, recently discussed Nacho and Dani Ceballos’ future:
Dani Ceballos’ Real Madrid contract is also slated to expire this summer, in addition to center-back Nacho. The future of the pair was recently brought up when manager Carlo Ancelotti was questioned.
Ancelotti addressed the following to the media before the matchup with Celta Vigo: “They are aware of our opinions on them. They seem to have everything very well explained. They are delaying deciding till the season is over. Their hands hold the entire world.”
In his 120 appearances for Los Blancos since his 2017 signing, Ceballos has contributed 12 assists and six goals in all tournaments. On the other side, Nacho is a recent academy graduate. He debuted for the first team in 2012 and has since played 319 times for the organization.
It is unclear what the two international players from Spain may face in the future.
