On Thursday to score a point in their third Indian Super League, Hyderabad FC played a match against Jamshedpur after trailing by a goal. Hyderabad drew with Jamshedpur in the third round of ISL. Greg Stewart ran well in 41 minutes but was eventually Bart Ogbeche equalized in the 54th minute and the football results were 1-1. With just one point in the bag, HFC remain sixth with four points from the first three league games of the current campaign.
Manolo Marquez’s men got off to a great start and had a few chances to score early in the football match, falling to Juan and Joel Chianese, but the red miners were the ones who gained a foothold in the game and began testing Laxmikant Kattimani’s goal continuously because half of it has been aged.
And in the end, thanks to a little skill and Stewart’s fine finish, the hosts held the lead until the break, when Manolo had a tough team discussion awaiting the men in yellow. Hyderabad launched a motivated counterattack on the right wing after 80 minutes, but Jamshedpur was unable to convert from short range. A move that ended with an Ogbeche composite finish saw Hyderabad equalize over half an hour.
Both teams fought hard for the winner, as Manolo introduced Rohit Danu (on the break) and Xavi Severio to push for the win, but Owen Coyle’s men showed good endurance and even reached the other end. But also managed to test Kattimani. Joao Victor, Juanan, Ashish Rai and Bart Ogbeche were brilliant for Hyderabad, but their efforts were not enough to register consistent wins for the club.
