FA Cup Round 3: Results from Monday, 10 January

Premier League club Burnley also exited the FA Cup to Championship club Huddersfield Town. They pulled off a late comeback to turn the scoreline around from 1-0 in Burnley’s favour.
Newcastle United bowed out of the competition to Cambridge United, who compete in League One, the third division of England. A 56th-minute goal from Joe Ironside was enough to spoil Kieran Trippier’s debut for his new club.
The record champions will not be adding to their tally this season, as they have been eliminated by Championship club Nottingham Forest. The only goal of the game was scored by substitute Lewis Grabban in the 83rd minute, leaving very little time for the Gunners to find an equaliser.
Arsenal could not manage one shot on target throughout the 90 minutes, despite having the majority of possession. Their lack of clinical finishing has now cost them a spot in the next round of the competition, as an EFL Cup semifinal tie with Liverpool awaits.
Scott Mctominay first-half header is enough for the struggling Red Devils to qualify for the next round.
