Leeds United failed to take their chances to let Norwich back into the game, and they duly obliged with McLean’s late equaliser.
That looked to have knocked the stuffing out of Leeds, but up popped the substitute Gelhardt to finish off Raphinha’s good work and score a late, late winner for the Whites.
They’ve got Jesse Marsch his first win as Leeds boss, and dramatically.
That massive first victory for Jesse Marsch sees his Leeds side move four points clear of the relegation zone.
And the first win in seven games should hopefully spur Leeds to move further clear of the drop zone.
Norwich’s late heartbreak, coupled with Watford’s corresponding victory over Southampton, means the Canaries are now four points from 19th and five from safety overall.
However, time is running out for Dean Smith’s side, and quickly.

Goals:
Leeds strike first. A long ball from Llorente is headed back James’ way. Then he feeds Rodrigo, who lashes it beyond Krul and into the bottom corner! 1-0 to the Peacocks at Elland Road, and the crowd is rocking here!
A long ball forward to Pukki sees him blast the ball back across goal, and McLean gets to the ball ahead of Koch to stab it home and make it 1-1! We’ve plenty of stoppage time left, and this game is only getting better.
Leeds are back in front. Gelhardt sends Raphinha through on goal, and he rounds Krul before passing back inside to Gelhardt, who knocks it in to make it 2-1 to Leeds with barely seconds to play.
