Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha allegedly named as one of their key transfer goals should their planned takeover be completed, by Newcastle United.
However, links to the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton have so far come to nothing, but in the recent transfer window, Zaha desires to leave the Palace for a larger club.
According toNewcastle would be willing to meet that asking price of £60 m put by the Eagles on their star man in an effort to fend off interest.
The Magpies are currently waiting for the approval of the Premier League for a takeover of over £300 m and, if this happens, they are supposed to undergo a massive overhaul this summer.
Newcastle is targeting to name Mauricio Pochettino as the candidate for the top four in the coming years, thus Zaha’s willingness to play soccer in the Champions League may be a possible obstacle.
This season 27-year-old Zaha made 30 appearances scoring three goals and making five more, for Palace.
