On Wednesday the team announced Diego Maradona will remain as Gimnasia coach until the end of the 2020-21 season.
For the coming term after relegation owing to a coronavirus pandemic has been postponed, Gimnasia will stay in the Primera Division.
And after agreeing with the Lobo to a one-year extension they’ll even boast Diego once again on the bench.
“You’re known as Pelusa, the Cosmic Kite, God, Diego, Diegote, Captain.” the club wrote on their official account on Twitter.
“But you are another Tripero to us and your heart is as white and blue as our heart is already. Gimnasia 2021 Maradona.”
