Real Madrid member who was close to coach Zinedine Zidane has contracted coronavirus.
When the Frenchman arrived at the club’s base he learned of the positive result in his entourage, reports La Sexta.
The coach had no contact with the team and according to protocol he was tested 48 hours before the game against Osasuna and tested negative for the antigen.
Zidane is at risk of missing the upcoming games against Osasuna in La Liga and Athletic in the Spanish Super Cup.
Within a day there will be a PCR test result. It is noted that in the event of a negative test, La Liga will decide whether or not to allow him to take part in a game against Osasuna.
Even if the test proves negative, another one may be required three days later. It also depends on when Zidane last came into contact with the infected man.
