On Thursday night the Nerazzurri picked up ‘an important victory’ over SPAL and during the run-in, wing-back Cristiano Biraghi reported that ‘everyone is needed’ at Inter.
The 27-year-old was happy to play, bringing Inter back to second in Serie A, as he scored the 2-0 goal and set the third goal for Alexi Sanchez.
“It was necessary because we knew that SPAL was battling, but meeting really aggressive teams are never easy,” he said to DAZN (via Football Italia).
“We figured we might take home the game if we took the lead.”
“We’re second, that’s what happened, now we continue. We couldn’t get the outcome in the last match, this time we have achieved it and we have to start like this.”
“We’re fit and that’s very necessary. The entire team needs to work intensely, they just need to.”
