“In the near future, I will be able to move to the MLS,” declared Gareth Bale of Real Madrid.
In the middle of the coronavirus epidemic, the La Liga giants are apparently ready to keep Bale, still, The Welshman has been the subject of intense rumors about his future at Bernabeu.
The former Tottenham Hotspur man stated his interest in joining the MLS team and managed only 14 appearances in Spain’s top flight this season.
“I really like the league, it’s evolved so much over the years. When we come over and play in pre-season the games are difficult, it’s a league that’s on the up and still rising.”
“A lot more players want to come to America now. I would definitely be interested in it,” Bale said at The Hat-Trick Podcast.
Bale will see his current contract at Bernabeu come to an end in 2022. The 30-year-old has scored 105 goals in 249 appearances since the arrival of Los Blancos.
