Inter CEO Beppe Marotta acknowledged that the Nerazzurri had not spoken to the club about Sandro Tonali and said that he had a ‘great friendship’ with Massimo Cellino, Brescia’s patron.
The Rondinella starlet was linked to a move to Inter this summer, and CEO Marotta restated their intention to strike a foreign deal for Italy.
“It’s a young player Inter want to have at our disposal next year,” he told Gianluca Di Marzio. “It’s not only me who likes him, but many Italian experts.”
“We haven’t talked to Brescia yet, even if the relationship with Cellino is great.”
Until the Series A season is over, Inter will retain Victor Moses and Alexis Sanchez announced Marotta.
“We have reached agreements to have them available at least until the Getafe match [in the Europa League],” he added. “It’s unthinkable that we are expected to play a competition like the Europa League and have players who may not be available.”
