Real Madrid will sign Bundesliga stars for next season. Moussa Diaby and Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen are targets for Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
This season, both players have been essential cogs in Xabi Alonso’s team. In 42 appearances in various tournaments, Diaby, a right winger, has scored 14 goals and given 10 assists. Real Madrid and Arsenal are reportedly interested in the 23-year-old forward, according to BILD.
The La Liga powerhouses are also interested in strengthening right-back. Dani Carvajal isn’t the same player he once might have been. It appears that Alvaro Odriozola will also be leaving in the summer.
Jeremie Frimpong has been noted by Real Madrid as a potential new acquisition. The 22-year-old has been a promising player this season, with 10 assists and nine goals across 42 games in various tournaments. Manchester United are also considering signing the player, in addition to Los Blancos.
Frimpong has a €35 million market value and a contract with Leverkusen that runs until the 2024–25 season. The term of Diaby’s contract is the same as that of Frimpong. His current market value is €50 million.
The Copa del Rey final between Real Madrid and Osasuna is up next:
On May 6, Real Madrid will play again when they compete in the Copa del Rey final against Osasuna. Real Sociedad shockingly defeated Los Blancos in their most recent La Liga match by a score of 2-0.
It was not a good prelude for the Spanish club before a crucial run of games. After his team’s defeat to the Basque club, Ancelotti spoke to the media and answered questions on his team’s preparation for the Copa del Rey final, according to Los Blancos’ website:
It’s not the finest approach to prepare for the game because losing hurts scares you, and somewhat lowers morale and positive energy.
He added: “It’s not the best for us in terms of getting ready for what’s next, but it’s very obvious that the players’ thoughts are also on Saturday’s final and the semifinal. That interferes with your ability to focus while playing, and you end up gifting goals as a result.”
In addition to their matchup with Osasuna, Real Madrid will play Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League semifinals. On May 9, they will host City in the opening leg.
