Zinedine Zidane said that the Belgium star was even happy to experience some tough challenges. He was pleased to see Eden Hazard impress as Real Madrid made a winning comeback in La Liga.
Hazard was substituted after 61 minutes, but head coach Zidane had few concerns and was on the receiving end of several intense challenges.
“We knew Eden lacked a bit of rhythm to play the entire game. He played for an hour and also played well.” Zidane answered questions from the media.
“They gave him a nice knock, a scare, but that’s football. He said he was all right at the break, he was glad he was struck, so he wasn’t afraid. He’s pleased about everything he’s achieved and we’re glad, too.”
