Burnley chief executive confirmed to Sky Sports, they’ve found the fans responsible for a “White Lives Matter flag” that flew over their Manchester City match and they’re likely to earn lifelong team bans.
Cops found that no crime was committed as they reviewed the accident.
Mr. Hart said on the banner “White Lives Matter Burnley”: “I was shocked and ashamed to see that followed.”
“Some people don’t get that or prefer not to recognize that. Monday is a perfect example of this and it creates racial hate.”
“It is a disappointment but it raises the concern that it is still happening and that we still need to work to fight it.”
