The central defender Dayot Upamecano will extend his contract with RB Leipzig for one year till 2022 and will not transfer to FC Bayern this summer, according to Sky Sport.
A transfer to another top club has also been settled for the time being. The 21-year-old is convinced that he can take the next development steps at RB and it’s too early to speak about changes.
The new contract in Leipzig has already been fully negotiated and should contain an exit clause for summer 2021, according to source reports.
